• GST policy
• capital gains and higher income tax rates
• extending 'Working for Families' to beneficiaries
• spend, spend, spend, borrow, borrow, borrow

all while Europe and America struggle with debt and overblown social welfare systems brought to mind the quote from Schiller, "Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain."
